Gambler Given 12 Week Jail Sentence After Stealing From His Employer

SafeA worker who stole £1,300 from his employer to fund a gambling addiction has been sentenced to 12 weeks jail time. Oliver Bassett handed himself to the police after failing to arrive for work at a key cutting business in Cardiff.

Judge Brands Rogue Locksmith A “Bully”

Mark Makowski, whose business, Pronto Locks Ltd, operated around the London Area, overcharged and under-delivered for customers when called out mainly on emergency work. The 40 year-old charged at some points over £1,000 for his emergency locksmith services, often carrying out completely unnecessary work, like drilling out locks when it wasn’t needed.

Rogue Trader Locksmith Jailed For Ripping Off Customers

Source: markhillary via FlickrA London locksmith has been convicted of defrauding customers at the Old Bailey. The 40 year old locksmith from London was found guilty of ripping off customers by over charging thousands of pounds for emergency call outs. The locksmith has previous history of commiting such offences dating back to 2003 after Hertfordshire council investigated his work and he was convicted of exploiting vulnerable and desperate customers.
