Gambler Given 12 Week Jail Sentence After Stealing From His Employer

SafeA worker who stole 1,300 from his employer to fund a gambling addiction has been sentenced to 12 weeks jail time. Oliver Bassett handed himself to the police after failing to arrive for work at a key cutting business in Cardiff.

Wildlife Survey Shows Hedgehog Numbers May Not Be In Decline

A recent survey conducted by the RPSB called ‘Make your nature count’ has indicated that our prickly little friends are regular visitors to approximately a fifth of gardens in Wales alone. It would appear that hedgehogs that were traditionally found in rural countryside seem to be migrating into the towns and cities as almost a third of people living in urban areas such as Cardiff, Newport and Swansea frequently see hedgehogs in their gardens.
