A Darlington skip hire boss has been ordered to pay legal costs to the local council after failing to overturn an enforcement notice.

A Welsh business man has opened a new waste disposal facility in Newport and aims to recycle over 90% of waste collected by it’s specialised skip collection service by 2014.
A Shropshire based skip hire company has been issued with a fine after a court appearance after being found to have waste stored on the ground and in skips at their location in Doddington Heights. Despite being registered as a skip hire firm, the company didn’t have an environment permit for storage of waste products.

A skip hire firm in Darlington has been fined for operating without a licence and disposing of goods illegally. Raymond Antony Shepherd, proprietor of Albert Hill Skip Hire, was prosecuted at Teesside Crown Court after pleading guilty to 5 charges. A trial which was due to start this week has now been postponed until the spring.
