Bats Force Church To Close

batA church has had to suspend all services because it is home to hundreds of bats. Hilda’s Church, Elleburn in North Yorkshire, has to wait for approval to remove the creatures from the premises from Natural England because the bats are classed as an endangered species, and the church now runs the risk of its long-term future falling into ruin.
