ElectriciansNew rules are needed to make sure that electricians have enough training to ensure that they are not putting homeowners in danger according to MPs.

Electricians who have received as little as five weeks training are deemed “competent” by industry bodies which allow them to sign off on electrical work carried out, stating that it is safe and legal.
