Open Fire Users Warned

57 chimney fires have been announced by Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service during the last 12 months, 18 of which took place during December.

It has been discovered that even a small blockage in a chimney can cause a fire and the importance of having your chimney swept should not be overlooked. Andy Tucker, Risk Manager at the Service highlights the risk of the lives of everyone living in the house when using an un-swept open fire.
