Local Boy Does Good

An executive of a well known plumbing company is working undercover for a TV program on a building site. The successful business man who started off as a handy man and builder then progressed

up to owning his own multi-million pound company will be spending eight days on the building site working with various charities and undertaking a vast number of duties which include plumbing, gas fitting, digging foundations, building walls, carpentry and putting in drains.  The business man who now employs 160 people worked in the town when he first started off in the building trade, he survived on £64 per week. Times since then have changed dramatically and he is now in charge of a plumbing company with a turnover of £16 million pounds. Not bad for a local lad.
