According to Michael Homes from Channel 5’s “I Own Britain’s Best Home”, there are simple ways to improve the value and quality of your own home. One of the simplest ways funnily enough is simply to install Central Heating or to sort out issues like damp, re-painting the front door to give it a better look, changing an old garage door to something new as older exteriors or worn exteriors would ward off potential buyers.

He advised that the budding DIY-er in you should be urged to come out and do a little work to spruce up the look / value of your house, if you’re looking to get your house on the market and bought.
